How do I get rid of the large square cursor?

Strange question, but I have a large square cursor for IE, and other windows applications, and can't figure out how to resize it back to a | size....i have already looked at accessabilty settings, and could not find it there.....

Go to Control Panel/Mouse and click on the Pointers tab.
From there you should be able to change the cursor.

Nope....did not seem to be there.....It's strange, as it is translucent and I can see text threw it....

Download TweakUI from Microsoft's site and do a repair on the Icons.

Try Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).

Go to the display tab.. there are 2 sliders

Blink rate and Width...

I'm gussing your Width is cranked up to "Fatty" hehe...
