I recently built a new computer with a SOYO SY-P4X400 Dragon Ultra Platinum Mobo.Everything's running fine,but when I shut down my computer the microsoft optical intellimouse goes dim and stays on.I never had this happen before with my other Mobo.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many new motherboards do not shut down completely since they have features like wake-on-lan. Mine stays on too. You may not be able to turn off all the power without unplugging mains power because of the soft on feature of ATX power supplies.

You could always unplug the mouse when you've shut down. Jennifer Sigman
