how do i get MOH up to G350?

can someone help me out with the steps to get MOH on board a G350/8300. i already have the virtual aanouncemnt board going with announcments. thanks.

You can load via Gateway or upload via filexfer.

What rev on software you running as well as on the gateways?

Hope this helps, it's for loading via gateway... I have CM4.0 and Gateway are on 26.33.0


Open a command prompt.

telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Upload:
Convert file to: u-Law 8.000 kHz, 8 Bit, Mono and make sure total of all files does not exceed 15 minutes

Place into FTP directly like C:\

Open FTP Server App to view download to G350

In G350 issue command

Copy ftp announcement-file C:\ *.wav xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx



Erase:

Erase announcement-file *.wav


Rename:
Rename announcement-file from_*.wav to_*.wav


Display Announcements:
Show announcements files


Status of Download:
Show download announcement-file status


Status of Upload:
Show upload announcement-file status

Enable first the gateway annoucement on "cha media-gateway #"

Then enter enable filexer, specify login and password and board location.

ftp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx is the IP of your mgp

so if i get the file up there via ftp(which i know how to do) how do i tell the system to play moh from that location?

Hold on, there a couple of ways to hook MOH to a gateway. If you have a source(mp3 player, CD player, Digital Message Repeater)you can plug this into an analog port on your gateway. Just type change music in communications manager and type in the port you plugged the music source into(1v0201 example). If you decided to try a wave file, then you would have to put it on your virtual announcement boards and use that port as the music source.

Once you have it upload:

Add announcement xxxxx
ch music souce

so do you just name it exactly what you name it as when you ftp it up and the 2 will synch??
