Hello everyone,
I was given a router, a Cisco 3600. I wanted to try and get SDM running, but it says my IOS image doesnt support SDM. This is the IOS I have:
IOS (tm) 3600 Software (C3640-JS-M), Version 12.2(6), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

Looking around a little it seems the only way to get a new ios is from Cisco? are they expensive? Can anyone just get one? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Look for a Cisco reseller in your area and ask them for pricing. Unfortunately, depending on the feature set you require, the upgrade will probably end up costing a few hundred dollars.

Dont worry about what IOS you have that router does not support SDM...
