How do I fix a shlddrv.vxd error in windows 98?

Thanks, for the response. It was popping up during boot up, I just had to hit enter to bypass it but it was driving me nuts. It is also my dad's computer so I don't think he installed or unintalled anything.
I went into regedit and deleted it from there and so now everthing is groovy..
