Hello,

Recently I've been having trouble figuring out how exactly to edit the quality of my video clips.

What I mean by this is .... The video clips I use are spectacular quality and look good enougf to be burned and watched on DVD but as soon as I put them into the timline and export my finished project they look unaceptable.(rigged, blurry, ect..) PLEASE I would appriciate any assistance!

PS. I have Premiere 6.0 and Pro 7.0 if you need this info

What is the format of your original video? Is it AVI, MPG, MOV, etc.? If it's anything other than AVI, that's most likely the source of your problem. Your original video source should be in AVI format.

If not format, how about the resolution of your video clips? How do their resolutions compare to your project settings in Premiere?

Is there a PAL to NTSC (or vise versa) translation?

It sounds like a mismatch and Premiere is having to interpolate your original video to match your settings.

As you used the words "video clips", what was your original source and what was the pixel size of capture ?

Chance,
