How do I edit a HTML file in acrobat???

Hi,
I have been requested to transform a HTML file to Acrobat PDF format. I was able to open it on acrobat, but I couldn't make changes to the page. Is there a way to do that? I need to move certain things and delete others. Can I do that?

I'd say edit your HTML how you like before making a PDF. The whole purpose of PDF is to make your file in a 'final state' to send to other people and have it intact as it was on your computer. Its not intended to be edited.

If you had to, you can do very minor edits if you have the full version of acrobat using the Advanced Editing toolbar. If that doesnt work for you then you need to upgrade with plugins like PitStop Pro which give you more control and editing features. But its pointless to get for a one off job when you can just easily make your file correct before Distilling.

Thanks. But for instance, the PDF shows the URLs of the page on the footer of every page. I would like to remove that. Is there a way to do that?

another thing you could do, If you have Adobe Illustrator load up the PDF in it and hopefully it wont turn your PDF to crap. Your also limited to editing one page of the PDF at a time.

Yeah, with the full version of Acrobat, Load up the Advanced Editing Toolbar.

View > Toolbars > Advanced Editing

Should have a toolbar in acrobat with an arrow select, click on the line of text you dont want. Hit delete.

If it selects more then you want to delete, Use the Text Touchup Tool, Has the Letter T in a box, Highlight the text you want to remove, hit delete.
