I am using a Make Table Query to construct a new table from data that I imported from another program. One of the fields is the "Name" field. In the source data, this field has one or more commas in it.

I need to get rid of the commas. Is there a way I can do this in the Make Table Query? Or do I need to do this in code? If code, do you know of some sample code that I can start from?

Thank you !!!!

Hi

If you are using Access2000 or later you could use Replace() function to replace "," with "" (or " ")

Cool! Even though I couldn't find "replace" listed in the query builder, when I typed it in the expression, it WORKED!! Thank you very much.
