I HAVE A RISC6000 MACHINE WITH AIX 4.1.5. CAN ANYONE
TELL ME HOW TO MAKE A BOOTABLE FLOPPY DISK?

Does Thread52-597409 help? If not, post back. Are you in Scotland or from Scotland (or both of course!)?

I don't believe you can make a bootable floppy, as the BOS needed to boot would not fit.

You can make a bootable and restorable save by doing a "mksysb" to a tape device.

You can do this through "smit mksysb"
