I was hoping somebody may know how to do this.

I have been trying to sort this out for ages, but so far have only got as far as .tpc files. I cannot find anything whatsoever on how these are configured etc. Has anyone got any idea on how to do this, or the whereabouts of any tutorials, etc anywhere.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

To make .hlp file you need to save you word document as rich text (rtf) and add certain footnote definitions.
You also need the WinHelp helpdesk (free) to create your help project. Search the web on 'winhelp' and you'll find loads of stuff.

I prefer HTMLHelp (also free) where the help file are based on html files and you can easily add search function, favoriets etc.

I have looked for the Freeware version of HTMLHELP and have had no luck. If you know of a freeware version of this software or something like it, please let me know.

Thanks
