I am trying to control the properties of a window that is being opened up from a link in a pdf document. Because it is being opened from the pdf I cannot set the properties in the usual way that pop up windows can be controlled. Instead I need to be able to control the properties (such as if a toolbar is visible) from within the newly opened window itself. Does anybody know how I can do this, or have any alternative ideas?

Thanks

No you cannot control the properties of the window after the window is open.
You have to set the properties before the window is open.

Instead of letting the link open the popup window on it's own, use the window.open command to open the window, set it's properties, and specify the file to be opened in it. I think that will work. Tracy Dryden
