I have built my first web page using Dreamweaver 3.0. It is a questionnaire for employees to access and fill out.

I think I have "hooked it up" to an Access 2000 database. The web page and database are on a local server on our network.

I have accessed the web page. Made my entries and then hit "submit" on the page.

When I go to check the database, there is nothing there.

I have checked the Access side and the connections seem to be o.k. there. In fact I created the data access page from the web page I created with Dreamweaver.

Any suggestions to make sure all is connected o.k., at least on the Dreamweaver side.

Thanks.

Are you using Dreamweaver or Dreamweaver-Ultradev??

I am currently trying to do the same thing. I am also trying to set up a webpage in which work orders can entered. The information would be sent to the database and a default email would be sent to someone saying that a new order has been submitted. I am also looking to have the webpage send something to an Outlook calendar (similar to a meeting request.) I have heard (rumor) that this could be done but if it can't I can do this through Access but I would like to have the webpage do this. Is all of this possible? Thanks

Hi,

As gcastillo mentions in a previous reply get a copy of Dreamweaver Ultradev a lot more friendly for database connectivity.
