How do I configure outlook express 1

This one is probably real simple for you guys. I want to use outlook express to receive my aol mail?

Can I do that?

I may be wrong (haven't used AOL in years) but if memory serves, AOL does not allow this

1. What about other email providers like yahoo or hotmail? The AOL was a friend of mine. I have yahoo mail.

2. Also my church as email on a server their server. I added an email account to it and now it sends me everyone's mail when I tried to configure it to outlook express.

Any help would be helpful.

I don't know about Yahoo, but Hotmail won't be a problem

This sounds more like a misconfigured server than a OE problem.

For Hotmail?
No, when it asks for the email address just put "username@hotmail.com" and OE will take care of the rest

1) Hotmail is a Imap service not a pop service, so adding it will create a directory structure rather than just download the email.

2) the username (for logging in) is the same as the hotmail email address "username@hotmail.com

To use Yahoo! mail you'll need to pay for one of their 'premium' services. See

Actually, you can get your Yahoo email through Outlook Express w/o paying for the premium service. Do a Google search on Yahoopops.
