How do I configure a Cisco 2950 & 2970 using fiber?

I am setting up a three Cisco 2950 switches to connect to a 2970 switch through their fiber ports. Do I have to program an IP address in all of the switches? Do I need to configure the switches to use the fiber ports?

Hi,
Ip address in switch is not necessary for basic using. But you can set it for remote management (telnet, CMS).

By default, fiber ports are enabled. So just connect yours fibers (in-out/out-in)
