Hi All,

Rather new to VB so please excuse my ignorance.

I have a form I have created for Access and I want to check a variable.

I know that if I want to do this when the form loads I use the form_load() event.

But I want to check this when the user moves to the next record.

What event can I use?

Many thanks,

Anton

Hi Eileen,

Thanks for your suggestion. However, if I select the Form element it doesn't give me the option of a on current property in the righthand drop down???

Look for "Current"

I think Eileen does what I do: In the design mode of the form, I right-click to View Properties (if they are not already visible). I scroll down in the Property pop-up until I find the On Current event. I pick EVENT PROCEDURE and click the BUILD button on the right (the little button with the three dots) which opens the code window. So I'm guessing that's why she said "On Current". I woulda said the same thing :))

Hope this helps...

THANK YOU BOTH ...

I'm SO grateful :)

That's just what I needed. I've been using the code only view and there is no on Current option for Form. How very strange?

Works now, so very grateful.

Hope you both have a great weekend.

Anton
