On my XP Pro box I also installed win2003 server after the XPpro was installed. Because the win2003 server was installed 2nd, at boot time, the system will default to the win2003 server boot instead of the XP os, because on the black and white screen which offers the choice to the user which os to select, the win2003 server is at the top of the list.

How do I change this sequence on the black and white dual boot screen so in an unattended boot, the XP Pro system is the default?

Changing the system boot

Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Startup And Recovery, click Settings.
Under Default Operating System, the drop-down list displays the current boot system.
Select the OS you want to be the default from the list.
Deselect the option Time To Display List Of Operating Systems.
Click OK.

Hope this help you....Papa4
