How do I change a phones extension?

I have come across 2 M7310 phones that seem to have the same extension. Can someone advise how I can change on to a different extension?

You did feature *0 on both sets and its giving you the same extension on the intercom port..??
Sure you don't have answer dn or something??

No 2 phones can have the same ext. I agree with the GURU, see if there is an answer dn on 1 of the phones or an auto dial to the ext.

I have had, on some 8x24s (that seem to have brain fades) the same extn number i think as a result of to many set relocations being done at the same time.Go in to the port/ dn status and see what port is connected to what extn and what extn is connected to what port.

Is set relocation turned on by any chance? Had a customer do this and after a period of time I had 2 and 3 phone with the same extension.....had to do a reinstall to fix it
