how could I programme an analogue modem with 8-ports on 2600-router series.

I need to make a dial in to the router from out side and inter to the local LAN,

You have to enter in the intilization strings for autoanswer into the modem. Hook the modem to the console port on the router (DB25-RJ45). Cisco has a technotes on How to.. Thanks,
Danielle

hi
I mean an analogue module which is insert on slot number one on the router :2610.

How could I programme that module which contains 8-ports. the purpose of that module is to enable a remote adminstrator to enter to the LAN and access the sources on that private LAN.

On the NM-8AM and NM-16AM analog modem network modules, the interfaces are addressed as

interface async <line number>

As for configuring them they aren't too hard to use.

Here this site should help you out a little. It has dialin configuration examples and links to dial-out as well as configuration link if you don't know any of the commands. Hope this helps you.

Question for you though, how are you hooking a PRI/T1 up to the unit?

The modem module has all internal modems and still needs something to terminate a PRI or T1 into. Usually this is done with a VWIC module...
