How configure a trigger for the amount of traffic

This is a network manegement function. You would need a aplication to inquiry the correct MIB or use a package like CiscoWorks 2000. In the Device Fault Manager of CW2000 you may configure thresholds for link utilization. When these thresholds are exceeded, traps are generated.
