I have converted several 2003 applications to 2007. I would like to hide the ribbon....How can this be accomplished. Thanks

This article describes the procedure
If you need to do to more, there are more info available. For instance Gunter Avenius site Allen Browne has a page on Access 2007 conversion ( where there are some links at the bottom pertaining to ribbons, inclduding a link to Albart Kallals word merge samples

I found a tip here on this site... I don't know which thread I got it from so I can't give credit where credit is due... :(

The tip is:

Save your .accdb file to your hard drive. Then RENAME the extension to .accdr , ignoring the warning from Windows that the file may not be readable after the change.

The icon changes to something similar to an "MDE" file, and voila, the ribbon is gone when your db is opened!

Try that for starters.

A.
