How can the clock be set to always on for an 8410D?

The 8410D phones on our S8700 system show a blank screen when idle. A "date-time" button had to be added so the time would show, but it only stays on the display for a couple of seconds.

Any ideas?

Replace the 8410'd with 64XX phones. 8410's will not display the date/time for longer than a few seconds.
