how can know what is the video adapter driver

i reinstall win98, but , do not have the cd of the mainboard for configurate the video adapter, and i do no have the cd for the modem driver.....

is posible know what video adapter driver and modem driver use my computer, if i have not the cd driver....

when i try to win98 search for a modem, no detect nothing,
before to reinstall, the modem work fine...


please , i am frustated,
somebody can help me.....

You need a friend.
A friend with a computer.
A friend with a computer conected to the internet.
Ask your friend to download your motherboard drivers.

CapsMan is correct, and you will also need to download your modem drivers, if it is an internal modem and you have no documentation you will have to pull it out to determine the manufacturer and model. All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.
