I have a few computers running Windows 98 still and ive found a neat little program to run crystal reports called Crystal Delivery and Crystal Passage but these only seems to work for Windows XP is there any other programs that will work with Windows 98 or is it possible to install something on Windows 98 that will make these programs work... Im using Crystal 8.5 std edition and currently we have no need in the organization for any enterprise edition or high dollar program that will function properly since we only have to run about 5 or 6 reports once maybe twice a month.... Any suggestions or commemts will be helpful... Thank you

Do you know if any of those are compatible with windows 98?... Ive tried Crystal Delivery and Crystal Passage and i cant seem to get neither to work at all...

The only one of those listed that I could find o/s requirements for was CRW Reporting Standard, which states it's for Win2K and XP. I would try getting in touch with Ido Millet of Millet Software to ask him if his Data Link Viewer runs on Win98. He's contact info can be found here:

DataLink Viewer provides 2 install options: one version that uses Crystal 8.5 runtime components and one that uses Crystal 9 runtime components. The 8.5 version never failed to install and run on Win98 or Win95 PCs.

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

You can export as Excel, Word, PDF etc. Use the Export icon, the envelope with the downward red arrow. Does this help?

I know about exporting but i need the ability for users to run reports but not have the capabilities of changing reports...
