I have installed SQL PLUS 8.0 in my home computer to practice in my free time. There is not any server or network in my house. I’ll heartily appreciate if somebody helps me to know how can I use my SQL without connecting to a server. I have tried using “nolog” option but it doesn’t work.

Since you use the term "SQL PLUS", you lead me to believe that you are talking about ORACLE's SQL. If so, you are posting in the wrong forum. This is Microsoft SQL Server and there are some differences between the two. A better place to post would be in an Oracle forum.
