Does anybody know of a way to force a program to startup using a certain processor?
The situation is Outlook running on a terminal server which is assigned to all 4 CPUs by default.
This isn't working too well and I've manually changed the affinity mask in task manager for the process for all users to use seperate processors which seems to have sorted it out nicely.
However the next time they start Outlook it defaults back to using all 4.
The start command allows you to specify the priority level but doesn't seem to let you choose the processor.
Can somebody help me or point me in the correct direction please
