How can i use DOS software applicat

How can i use DOS software application and Com ports in Win XP Pro or Win 2000.

When i try it, I can't reach any com port.

Usualy with Win9x i was able to restart in DOS cause i was unable to run my application with DOS in Win98 too.


Help!

Try right clicking on the executable file in Windows Explorer and select Properties. Then select the Compatibility Tab and check to run in Windows 95 mode.

Also, you might try Microsofts Compatibility Wizard:

What devices are you attempting to use in DOS mode?
Remember that the device has to be DOS/Windows compatable.
