I use Microsoft Publisher 97 and MS Publisher 2000 to generate a simple static web page. This works okay for my purposes. However, when a page has an image (usually a photo jpg type) publisher automatically converts it to a gif. This degrades the quality and results in a poor image. Is there a way to turn this off or preserve the image quality?
