Hi All,
I am trying to set up FTP users in IIS 2.0 but without any luck. Do I simply add the users to User Manager and can I then ftp into the box?.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ray

RayD,

Please let me first suggest that you get the NT 4 option pack and install IIS 4.0 instead.

Just really a test so I only have the NT4 Server CD.
So does anybody know how I can set up an FTP user with ful rights?
Cheers,
R.

Setup the user in user manager on the server, then assign him the proper permissions on the home directory that the ftp service is using.

Thanks Epohl,
I can login now but I can't see any of the contents of the hard drive even though the user has FULL access to the entire hard drive.
Has me stumped,

RayD,

In the MMC, right click FTP and choose properties. Choose the Home Directory tab, the FTP site directory is where the users are actually logging in to. Change this to whatever folder you wish to access via FTP.
