Let me begin by saying I'm a designer, not a programmer, so forgive me if I ask stupid questions.

I have a donation form that puts the user's info thru FormMail on our server to be emailed to the proper folks at our org., and then the user sends a check via mail. We've got Verisign now and I need to have some way to save the info on the form that doesn't go to Verisign. Ideally I'd like to make the form write to a file on our server if that's possible, or at least be emailed to our people before the info gets to the Verisign secure server for processing there.

Can I use Perl to write something that will do this, and does anyone have ideas of where I could look for this type of info? The web designer before me did this using ASP but we've moved to a new host that does not support ASP at this time.

Thanks for help of any kind...

yes, you can use perl to do that...

if you're going to be writing a script to do this, i suggest going out and getting a book on perl. i recommend o'reily's perl programming. its the one with the camel on it.

but, if you want us to help you, we need a little more info than that. adam@aauser.com
