How can I retrieve the file from a directory?

Hi All,

I do have a problem which is file retriveing?

I do save the file into a directory on the webpage. Then I would like to retrieve it. It does ok on IE but not in Netscape. I am using. "href=c:\file.txt" as the link.

Please help me if you can.

if the file was uploaded to the same directory that your referring html document is in, i would use:

<a href=&quot;file.txt&quot;>Click here to see the file.</a>

otherwise:
<a href=&quot;

http://www.yourdomain.com/yourdirectory/file.txt&quot;>Click

here to see the file.</a>

as the link. Hope it helps
