Dears;

The problem is that , when we press Export button to export report to any file format and if we tried to export it in .rpt then it gives me error b/c we don't have that file type on client PC. So, I want to restrict user to export reports in few required formats. For example , I can export reports files into Excel or Word.

The idea is to filter the export dialog form to specific files extension.

How do we do that !

Thanks.

You don't need that file type on the PC to export it.

Rather than trying to use English to describe your question, try posting technical information:

Crystal version
Database used
How reports are ran (VB, Crystal Enterprise, or?)

Think of a technical forum akin to contacting technical support, they'll want to know your version information before anything else, and they'll need to know the environment.

Okay, I appreciate your help.

I am using VB.NET and Crystal Report 9.0. The database is SQL Server 2000. I am calling .rpt files using functions in VB.NET and I am using Crystal Decision Libraries.

Thanks for suggesting tips for posting question in technical forums.
