I have a strange problem. I have a protected directory on my website. When I try to enter it, instead of being prompted for username and password, I get this error message 'HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on the requested resource.' This only happens on my windows 2000 machine using internet explorer 5.5. On my laptop (and others in the office) the login screen pops up and credentials are taken and access permitted or denied accordingly. It used to work on this machine as well. All that I can think of is that it is identifying me somehow and denying access without the option of logging in. Does anyone have any insight?
