How can I open a ftp session thru Visual Basic????

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering how can I open an ftp session thru Visual Basic, on a server. And get some files from that server into the local computer. The thing is that the user does this proccess manually he types in all the commands, necessary to transfer the files. I would like to automate this proccess, by giving the user a textbox where he can type in the files he ones to transfer and the destination where he needs the files.

Do i have to run any kind of batch file or script, I'm a begginer with Visual Basic, any help would be appreciated.
