How can I make a value in a current field be the next value in another 1

Hi You Guys<br><br>I could really use your help on this one, it's driving me nuts!&nbsp;&nbsp;I have a field [Balance] this field has been arrived at from having an [currentlyInStock] field less [QtyReq] field. How do I make the [Balance] field become a [currentlyInStock] field for every record?<br><br>Please help if you can.
