how can I log someone else out from the su prompt?

I have to log out alot of sessions and I'd like to do it from the su prompt.......

What is a su prompt???

If you have to log out users because they have screen locked a workstation, you can enter root's password to gain access to the workstation.

Simply kill their shell processes. You will need to use kill -9 <pids> because login shells ignore SIGTERM.
