We have a 4 unit Norstar system with M7310 Telephones. One line has SBC's three way calling feature on it. It requires depression of the flash key on a standard telephone in order to get a 2nd line to call out on. Is there a way to get a "flash" from a M7310 Telephone. currently I run a 2nd copy of this line to my office where I plug in a standard phone in order to do the "flashing". perhaps Norstar makes a newer phone with a "flash" key.

might need to post this over in the norstar forum, this one is for the other merridains, most of us don't have access to your system

Feature 5 is the feature code for a flash. It also can be programmed under a button on your sets.

Feature*3
press button to program
Feature 5
RLS
Now that button is programmed

you can use the LINK feature. Program an unused button on the set as a LINK.

This provides a hookflsah to access cetranet features or LEC features like 3 way calling.
I dont remmeber what the Feature code is but if you go into programming and look under the button mapping for the set, you should be able to scroll throught the list of features and assign it to a button.
