With this database already having User & Group permissions set to not allow read design, administer etc, on this module...it's not an mde, so maybe I was wondering if there was a workaround or bypass method I can use to export this module to a new empty database, basically i'm asking you to help me hack a database, but it's ok cause the database is mine, I just wasn't that wise in setting up security when I first created this database a while back. Please someone help me, I'm desperate..I need to reuse this module in another database project of mine.

Thanks in advance,

Did you create a password when you setup the workgroup? There are password recovery programs. Other than that, there are no easy ways to get around Access' security - that is why backups are so important (not that you want to hear that now). A while back someone posted in this forum that they had written a program to hack an Access database - but they want $200US for a copy.

There is a user in the Microsoft: Office forum that has helped others *remember* their passwords. She has a freeware application that will tell you the first three letters of the password that you set up. Most people can remember what they used for a password when they know that much. Her login ID is Dreamboat...

Ever notice that by the time that you realize that you ran a truncate script on the wrong instance, it is too late to stop it?

Have you tried creating a new blank database, then Import the forms and such you want into it?
