how can i delete terminal server licence

License manager issues certificate based licenses to clients. These licenses are issued to clients when the client connects to the server. The issuing of a licence is not under the control of the administrator. Once a certificate has been issued to a computer it cannot be removed.

This means that a program can be created to connect to a terminal server. This program randomises the computer name and uses up all the licenses on the server.

When licenses run out client are given a 90 day temporary license.

There is an update that you can load to expire the licenses in 90 days. I think you have to call Publishing House for Terminal Server Licenses @ 1-888-571-2048 and renew all the licenses first. After that you can apply the patch called q287687_w2k_sp3_x86_en

You can double check with the publishing house on the patch but I am pretty sure that is the one. (There have been so many other TS updates that I have loaded)
