Hi Folks,

I think the title says it all ;0)

I have a call logging system written under Access 2k and would like to automatically put the tasks recorded into tasks under Outlook.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jes

Link to your task folder like any other Access linked table. In Access 2000:

1. File, Get external data, Link tables...
2. In the dialog box, select Exchange() for Files of type
3. The Link Exchange/Outlook Wizard pops up - select the tasks folder in your mailbox and click Next
4. Specify a name for the linked table.
5. Choose whether or not to store your MAPI profile with the link (quick guide: choose yes if only you are going to be using the db, otherwise generally uncheck this option
6. Click Finish

This enables your tasks folder to be used as a linked table in your db.

Is this helpful? [pc2]

Hi Mp9,

Hmm, Step 1 & 2, no problem. Step 3 - Pop-Up is exactly right, it just flashes up on screen and I'm unable to select from there.

Any ideas? I'm on terminal services, so that might explain it.

Later,

Jes
