What command or software I need to achieve this?

TIA

Can you supply further details of your problem and why you need to access such a sensitive area?

Hi!

Problem : my OS got corrupted and it won't start. I tried to repair it and all but it didn't work - the process gets hung. I'd love to do a clean installation but unfortunately I can't because the old OS, apparently, have randomly encrypted some important files...- I haven't deleted the old installation files and whatnot yet. According to some articles that I have been reading this kind of problems could be solved by manipulating some SAM entries, etc... And that's why I need how to get there...

TIA

It shouldn't be possible for Windows System files to be Encrypted, unless it was done by some other operating system in a Dual Boot type of situation?

A clean install would involve a Format of the hard drive first, nothing after that procedure should prevent you from installing Windows.

Before you go into SAM manipulation, even if it is possible, have a look at this thread.

SAM lives at C:\WINDOWS\system32\config, access is not easy, this next article will show you how to replace it.
