How 2 enable 2nd keyboard on laptop?

Hi there,

I have a Vaio laptop (PCG-F650), to which I have plugged an external keyboard. But although I have already restarted the laptop, I still can't use it.
Any ideas?

You probably have to make a change in the CMOS to activate the external keyboard.

What exactly is the CMOS though?
Is that found in the Bios?

Yes, when you enter the BIOS you are actually in the CMOS.

Not really, access, the CMOS is the chip itself (it stores the info you feed it from the BIOS)

I don't know what I did different today, but now it is working. In fact, both keyboards are accessable simultaneously.
I simply turned the laptop on, then after sometime I thought of pluging the keyboard and try again, and it just worked.
