When I try to check my hotmail i get onto it ok but when i try to open/delete or go to another folder I get page cannot be displayed. When uploading stuff to the internet (such as deviantart.com) i also get page cant be displayed.Ive tryed MSN Explorer,Netscape and outlook express for checking email. I attemped to format C:\ but my w98 Format cannot format C:\ cause its NTFS. :'(

On another note, if you really want to format your XP drive over this issue (I would not) boot from your XP drive and specify a new installation of windows rather than a repair.

jut tried somting, i f i open in a new window it seems to open the email fine, i can delete in the "Junk mail" folder but not in "inbox"

Have you cleared your IE cache? You know, "Tools\Internet Options\Delete Files" In the Temporary Internet Files section?

Now it happing to all of my internet stuff, i keep gettin cant dissplay page, im gona format, i have notin better to do

If you're trying to delete the NTFS partition, use FDISK and delete the non-dos partition.

Well its annoying me more, when i upload ANYTHING "page cant be displyed" If i make big posts on forums "page cant be found" on hotmail sending mail "cant be found". It's gettin really annoying. I think it may be a virus but norton says notin. I scanned with an online v-scanner, it found 3 java virus, but wont delete them, yeat norton cant find them, I deted there root fiolder but still messed up WTD do i do

Do at least two antivirus scans from smah's faq: faq760-3862 I like Trend Micro and Panda.

Write down the name of the virus(es) they report and see if they can be removed.

Then run these two programs:
Spybot 1.2 (Update the definitions first)
Adaware 6

And download Hijack This!
You can find them all here:

Follow the advice for fixing problems in both programs. Then reboot and try again.

If issues remain, run Hijack This! and post the results back here.
