Hotmail freezes!

I've noticed recently whenever I log on to hotmail in IE6.0 hotmail freezes for a few moments whenever I takes an action: for example, if I click to open a new mail the cursor arrow doesn't turn into the hand right away, it only does so only after a while. This also happens when I want to go back to Inbox or Sign out. I use Windows XP and has tried system restore but to no avail. The funny thing is that if I log on to hotmail in Opera 6.0 then hotmail is really 'hot'.

Anyone has any idea? Greatly appreciate your advice.

Thanks jmatt. I've followed the instructions from Microsoft to re-install IE6, but the sluggishness of Hotmail in IE6 is still the same. I just wonder if Yahoo mail is doing ok in IE6 and Hotmail is in Opera then what is the real problem: Hotmail or IE6?
