Exporting email messages from Yahoo to Hotmail

Hi,

I'm looking to close my Yahoo email account.

Does anyone know how I can move all my email messages from my Yahoo email account to my Hotmail account?

You can always send them to yourself but I would ask Yahoo if there is a way (or Hotmail)

Thanks... I will probably have to contact Hotmail or Yahoo. Not sure sending emails to myself is the way forward as I want the emails to show the original sender in my inbox. Therefore I don't want to forward the messages but move them.

Would perhaps anyone know how, if I did forward messages to myself, how I could see the original sender's details rather than my own address in the inbox screen?
(not sure if possible...)

Depends on what you're using for an email client. If you're using Outlook to check your Yahoo email, you can download them, and they would be available to you when you configure Outlook for Hotmail.
