HOT TO USE VREPAIR ON NETWARE 4.11

I´ve been having problems with my DB. I have to run a REBUILD of damaged files at least once a week. A friend over the internet told me that VREPAIR might solve this data corruption problem, but I don´t have any novell books and can´t find any information on how to run the VREPAIR on my netware 4.11.
Your help to give me some instructions to run it will be highly appreciated.

Ok, basic steps:

1. Ensure no users are on the server
2. Dismount the affected volume
3. To load vrepair, type LOAD VREPAIR at the console
4. Can't remember exactly what happens next, but select the volume and run the repair. -----------------------------------------------------

VRepair just only fix problems when your disks are in DOS Name Space... if your volumes are in DOS, LONG Name space you must use ´load v_long´ at system console. This will keep your long file names without be trucated. When it is loaded just follow the instruccions (dismount the necesary volumes, and choose the ´1´option). This will check for errors. Maybe your damaged files are in LONG format, if you keep trying solving with V_repair the solution will never come.

NetWare 4.x version of VRepair will automatically load V_LONG.NLM if it spots that the volume you are repairing has LONG namespace added to it. -----------------------------------------------------
