Hoot system through Nortel 61c 1

What is a HOOT System, do you mean a paging system?
Once we know what a hoot system is we might be able to help.
also tell us how it work now.

Not going to happen over the speakers.
The hoot system is a Hoot-N-Holler that when someone keys the Mic the voice goes out over all speakers connected to this system. Traders like Merill Lynch use these all the time to make stock trading and tendencies announcements to all the traders at one time.

It could be done over a paging system but not over the speakers in the phones.

Ok, lets make sure were all talking about the same thing and not makingg Assumptions.
what is a ring dial intercom in your mind, I know what it is in my systems and how does it work on yours?

There is no way to make an external source page over the speakers on the phone sets. Even internally you can not page over the speakers on TDM type sets if you are on a PBX. The only thing that pages over the speaker on a PBX is IP sets and you have to have an Application Gateway server to do that.

This is a seperate Ring dial system ( Ring-Masters) outside the Nortel. And we want to know if we can incorpate the the system through the Nortel ? and if so would like to know what equipment wouldbe involved on both the 61c & 11c? I know it's crazy but, thanks .

Sorry but once again not over the set speakers. I don't think even an Norstar would page without DISA from an external source.
