Is there a method in PM 6.5 to make a voice in an audio-clip go faster, but at the same time to keep the tune of the voice at the same height (so to avoid that the voice becomes "higher")?

you would need an audio program to do that. Premiere can only do so much.

Thanks, you have any suggestions, names of such programmes?

Goldwave from includes a suitable effect. It can open AVI files, but only save in audio formats. But you can then import the altered audio into Premiere and link it to the video again on the timeline if you wish.

To save in AVI format, you would probably need a more expensive program like soundforge unless someones got a cheaper suggestion.

Thanks Akribie,

I understand Goldwave is only for windows-pc's. Is there anything also for MAC?

Kippie

You're right, Goldwave is Windows only.

Don't know much about Mac software, but "mac audio edit shareware" in Google gives some interesting-looking leads.
