Hello

I am using MS Word 2002

Is it possible to see when a document was overwritten, i.e. does a document retain an history of every time it was amended

Thanks

Damian.

I dont know if this helps but if you go to View-->toolbars--->reviewing you can see the changes (corrections) that were done. However i think the user can disable this property! (i.e. he does not have track changes on)

Go to File/Properties and select the "Statistics" tab. This should tell you what you need to know.

Good luck.
