High Page Faults

SQL Server 8 Ent
I've noticed the page/sec and page faults hovering around 90. I appears as thought the Indexing Service is the culprit. Is it necessary or suggested for cidaemon.exe and cisv.exe (Indexing service) to run on a SQL server? The are causing 90% of the page faults.

Unless you need those services for something they can be disabled. SQL doesn't use the indexing service for anything.
