Hide Administrative Tools 1

On the WinNT workstation, how can I hide Administrative Tools(from menu ) or other folders, for a user ?

Hi,

There are a couple of ways:

1. You can move the group from the "All Users" startup group to one for the local administrator, so it will only appear for that particular login, or

2. You can set NTFS access permissions on it so that only certain people have read/execute rights on it - for everyone else it will show up as empty.

You can set up a policy with system policy editor.
